I woke up to a clattering sound this morning around 5:30 am. The power had gone out and Boyfriend was trying to pry open the fuse box which had been painted shut by the apartment complex. He was unsuccessful, but it didn't matter, because something like 30,000 people in our area were without power, too.
The power was back on by the time I got up and Boyfriend had gone to work, but the outage left a gift: the router wasn't working. Turned it off and on again; didn't work. Unplugged it, left it, plugged it back in again; didn't work. I finally called Verizon and their automated system got it working again. Yay!
I cannot get the numbers on the wax melts to be defined. I'm making one more mold with a different silicone, and if that doesn't work the dice melts will be numberless until I can figure it out. A bummer, but the dice *boxes* are coming along nicely, so that's something! Spell slot boxes are also coming along beautifully and I'm thinking of adding some more dice box shapes to my collection.
Mini dice have arrived!! They're so tiny and cute! The goal is to make jewelry with them, so stay tuned for that.
One resin D20 is curing, more mini dice are curing, Jester candles are cooling, and I figured out Shakaste! The plan is to make the samples for Molly and the Gentleman today, maybe pouring a Beau or Nila or Reani. Is there a character you need to have in candle form? Comment below!
