Hi friends—a belated look back on October, largely spent on ideas for future conducted projects and scouting programme/curatorial inspo.. living the dream!
I've enjoyed sending a few more provocations out into the world, big thanks to all of you who've checked out, liked and shared my vids on Instagram and Facebook and to those joining us here as a result. Much of the month happened in this position as my listening/research marathon commenced for Classical:NEXT:
..but more on that in the November issue, suffice to say it's the reason I'm 2 weeks behind with this one!

Now, an announcement..
5 years ago today Ruthless Jabiru was midway through its Crowdfunder in aid of the orchestra's debut album Girl, a composer portrait in collaboration with our friend Soosan Lolavar for Nonclassical. The campaign was such hard graft and an emotional rollercoaster but we smashed our £10,000 goal thanks to the support and generosity of all of you ༝༝
This Friday 21 November, Ruthless Jabiru will be returning to Crowdfunder for the first time since.. an ambitious fundraising drive that will underpin the orchestra's 2026 projects—our 15th anniversary year!
I'm as terrified as I am excited.. but really hope you'll join me on socials for our campaign launch and in the weeks ahead to partake in what's bound to be another wild ride..
