It is not possible to be deceived if you are aware. so you are responsible for your own safety.
Follow some of my tips here to stay alert-
Avoid scam websites and suspicious offers.
Never send any sensitive documents (eg- Passport, SSN & State ID) without ensure your safety.
Don't just rely on previously taken photos or videos, At least you should see live housing (Room, Road, GPS etc) via video call.
Always use a safe payment gateway, eg- Paypal, Credit card. So if anything goes wrong you can claim your money back.
if you’re being rushed, chances are it’s a scammer. So don't rush.
Always remember these rules- 1. Check housing by live video call/tour and make sure everything real 2.Submit document if approved then 3.Contract 4.Make deposit by a secure and safe payment gateway.
