I just finished working out and I have one item on the HoneyDo list to complete. After that I’m headed to K-4192 for a New Years Eve activation. I’m hoping to do 300+ contacts so I can:
1) Be the top dog at K-4192.
2) Stay ahead of Andru (KE8FHB), the kid is gunning for me and I ain’t having it.
3) Dethrone Tom (KU8T), that guy is a POTA machine and I have bumped him off two parks twice and he just goes there the next day and bumps me back down. I need to get a healthy lead on his actions.
4) Enjoy a rare 40ºF day in northern Indiana.
5) Test how many QSOs I can manage on my IC-7300 before I run out of juice.
I plan to be mostly on SSB but I am bringing my laptop to do some FT4 and FT8 if the pileups don’t show up. I may try working my way from 10m to 40m.
