Boat Life

Feb 17, 2022

It always amazes me how you soon learn to live without all the essentials you think you need everyday. I think thats the one thing I have learned since moving aboard, is that you actually need very little. There is something quite satisfying about not having to think about furniture and should we decorate and generally keeping up with the neighbours!

So we have lived aboard for 3 and a half months now and in that time we have managed to survive through winter, at points it has been testing, like having no heat and no bathroom, but we pushed through.

We have now finished fitting out the Head and have now moved on to the Aft cabin, which will be our room, which we are really excited to see how this cabin turns out.

This week we are bracing ourselves for two storms, with really high winds, so I hope we manage to get through both without to much damage. We really love this way of living its like being in another world and we can't wait for the day that we can take the boat out of the marina and actually sail her.

So follow our journey on our Youtube channel and watch us renovate our 1969 motor yacht and set sail for brighter skies (hopefully).
