Capítulo 2: El Viaje
Tomo aire.
Miro por la ventana junto a mi gato que está aquí, siempre conmigo. Cierro los ojos y siento mi corazón latir fuertemente. Ahí está otra vez esa llamada, ese sentimiento extraño que vuelve a tocar las fibras de mi piel, como si algo de otra dimensión me estuviera llamando.
Así ha sido desde siempre.
Desde nunca, tal vez.
Algún día me prometí. Cierro los ojos...
Así, un día decidí hacer las maletas, tomé todo lo que necesitaría y miré fijamente a mi gato. Ambas chocamos nuestras frentes como siempre hacemos al despertar.
Puse un pie fuera de la ventana, cerré la puerta, ambas decidimos inicar nuestro viaje.
Mi gato a mi derecha, Sam a mi alrededor guiándome, y un corazón punzante dentro de mí.
Había llegado la hora.
Caminamos por muchos lugares...
Por la acostumbrada lluvia en la ciudad,
Ese frío misterioso de las montañas,
hasta que el calor nos abrazó en el desierto.
Y por fin lo logramos...llegamos al mar.
Sonreí.
Puse a Albina en la Arena, junto a mi maleta, los papeles de todas las aventuras planeadas se esparcieron a lo largo de la orilla como si contaran la historia que me trajo hasta aquí.
Estuvimos sentadas ahí hasta la puesta del sol.
Al instante en que el sol desapareció, y la Luna emergió elegante, volteé a mirar a mi gato, ella me miró fijamente, yo le di un beso en la cabeza. Ella lo había sabido todo el tiempo.
Me levanté y caminé hacia adentro, hasta que las olas empezaron a tocar mis pies. Me fui introduciendo poco a poco al mar, ellos permanecieron lejos, sentados en la arena.
Volteé ligeramente, con una mirada de despedida.
Sonreí.
Y así empecé a hundirme hasta que el agua por fin cubrió mi cabeza, hasta que todo se lleno de estrellas y la paz invadió mi cuerpo de una manera que la vida nunca me mostró.

Y llegamos.

Chapter 2: The Journey
I breath.
I look through the window, next to me; my cat; always with me. I close my eyes and feel my heart pounding. There's that call again, that strange feeling that touches the fibers of my skin again, as if something from another dimension was calling me.
It has always been that way.
Since never, maybe.
Someday I promised myself. I close my eyes ...
So one day I decided to pack my bags, I took everything I would need and stared at my cat. We both bump our foreheads like we always do when we wake up.
I put one foot outside the window, closed the door, we both decided to start our journey.
My cat next to me, Sam around leading us, and a pounding heart inside.
The time had come.
We walked through many places ...
Under the usual rain in the city,
That mysterious cold of the mountains,
Until the heat embraced us in the desert.
And finally we made it ... we reached the sea.
I smiled.
I put my cat in the sand, next to my suitcase, the papers of all the planned adventures scattered along the shore as if they were telling the story that brought me here.
We sat there until sunset.
That instant when the sun disappeared, and the Moon emerged gracefully, I turned to at my cat, she stared at me, I gave her a kiss on the head. She had known it all the time.
I got up and walked inside, until the waves began to touch my feet. I was gradually introducing myself to the sea; they remained far away, sitting on the sand.
I turned slightly, with a parting look. I smiled.
And so I began to sink until the water finally covered my head, until everything was filled with stars and the peace invaded my body in a way that life never showed me.

And we arrived.
