It doesn't matter what it is, verbal, emotional or physical. Abuse is abuse.
He doesn't understand that words hurt. When you say I am lazy and just sit on my arse all day and answer the phone, what do you expect me to do. I fight back. My words are the truth. You abuse me, you bruise my soul and damage my heart. You make me lose confidence in myself and my ability to survive away from you.
Physical bruises can be covered with make up and clothing, emotional and verbal abuse bruises your insides and damages your soul. Healing takes ten times longer.
You tell me you love me and you would do anything for me, you say you have my back. Yet, you talk about me behind my back, won't take no for an answer and stress me out. You don't leave me any money, and many excuses are made at work as to why I have no lunch or look like I haven't sleep for a week.
