The beauty of small paintings

The beauty of small paintings

Jun 02, 2024

When I first started my art journey in 2021, I began with large canvases. This allowed me to express what I wanted, and it was easier to work with. Now, I am more drawn to smaller works. I feel they are stronger than big paintings, and they give off a unique vibe when framed with different kinds of frame.

I realised how much I enjoy sharing my art. Making my art accessible to people is really important to me. When I think about sharing and gifting my small pieces, I feel immense joy. These smaller works offer much more flexibility than large paintings. They are accessible to everyone, whether someone lives in a big house, is wealthy, or is a student on a tight budget. They can be enjoyed equally, whether custom-framed or simply stuck on a fridge.

I have come to understand how a painting, even some art or photos on a postcard, carries a certain energy and brings people joy. I want to share more of my art to brighten people's days, make their spaces unique, or provide them with unforgettable gifts to enjoy or gift to others.

I feel I am slowly finding my place, and I am excited to see what comes next. 🌿
