It's been a moment since I gave an update on what I've been up to. Here are some highlights from the last few months.
I am so proud of this work and much of it is unpaid, so I am grateful to all of you who are able to chuck a few dollars my way for this work. I also have a free upcoming event, so make sure to read to the bottom of this email!
I'm super excited to be part of Real Job exhibition, which opened at Seventh Gallery (Richmond, VIC) and Counihan Gallery (Brunswick, VIC) in early April. It was incredible to be able to share a creative space with so many other staunch artists and unionists to reflect on poor work conditions and the devaluation of art as work.
The Seventh Gallery exhibition is open til 28 April and the Counihan Gallery exhibition is open til May 21, so please check it out.
In recent months, I've also been super busy with commissions. A couple commissions I am especially proud of include an illustration for Fitzroy Legal Service's Activist Rights webpage and a poster for the Australian Services Union (Vic/Tas) Climate Action Network. I love bringing joy and community to activist spaces and both of these briefs really let me play with fun new colour palettes.
Finally, I made this little unofficial poster for the Refugee Action Collective (Victoria) Palm Sunday Rally. It was attended by thousands of refugees, asylum seekers, and their supporters, gathering together to call on the Albanese Government to grant permanent visas to all refugees, including those on bridging visas who were left out of recent important reforms.
Around May this year, look out for social media posts and street posters for a fundraising concert run by RAC Vic - I'll be designing the promo material pro bono!

I am running a political poster workshop as part of the Real Job exhibition public program. It will be on 22 April at 1pm at Seventh Gallery in Richmond. Feel free to bring your own materials, but I will also provide some.
