Über Judit Lázaro
Creating websites and apps while writing articles.
¡Hola! 👋, I'm Judit Lázaro, Front-end developer, Spanish philologist, tightrope walker… and coffee lover.
If you're curious about my creations, I am regularly sharing cool, accessible, and open-source applications and websites on GitHub. Here's my portfolio, too, just in case you might find it more visually appealing! See? Being a coffee addict may lead to something good, in the end. All jokes aside, and just for clarification purposes, I feel responsible for sharing with anyone interested in learning as many tools and platforms as possible. As an example of it, here you'll find my latest "pseudo-book", "Rising Up: Insights from a Junior to Future Seniors".
Here are some of the apps and websites that I built and open-sourced:
- 🎨 chromatOS, a Finder extension to personalize your macOS experience by easily changing folder colors.
- 🌗 noctOS, a macOS utility to configure light or dark mode themes for your selected apps.
- 👁️🗨️ EVASCode, a collection of VSCode themes (dark and light ones) inspired by Evangelion, its iconic EVAs, and their distinctive color palettes.
- 🔃 mergeOS, a macOS menu shortcut allowing you to easily preview, manage, and access your GitHub PRs.
- 📚 pythoMazov, a website gathering free programming courses, books, certificates, websites, and other helpful resources.
- 🗺️ Take you there, an interactive map enabling us to pin and share pictures of places we've visited together.

When I am not coding fictional worlds, I try my best to analyze different forms of media, mostly related to the development sector and video games. While my karamaBlog focuses most of my articles, it's also possible to find me on Medium.
As a creator, I value support in all its shapes - shadows and lights included. Don’t forget that we dinosaurs get extremely inspired after a nice Espresso, after all. It's not so simple to code and write articles when your arms are so short ❤️
