Summer is usually the time that people take off to relax, go on vacation, and basically take time to recharge. Not for most writers, though. Summer is when we crank up our air conditioners, grab our iced teas (or lemonades, or cocktails), and hunker down in front of our computers or notebooks. Some will brave the heat to go be by the water and write; I am not one of those brave souls. There are too many bugs outside, and once the temperature in the sun reaches over 80F, I am no longer a fan of the "great outdoors". Let's face it, folks, the higher elevation is not my friend in summer.
With that being said, however, there will be a few things coming up this summer for you to keep your eyes peeled for!
The High Priestess of Heqet is getting to the halfway point in wordcount, which means you guys are due for another teaser! I'll warn you, this teaser won't be nearly as steamy and romantic as the last one. It will be intense, though, so buckle up!
A Tangle of Roses is almost to the same spot in storyline, at 9 chapters in, and I welcome all of you to take a peek at it on either Fanfiction.net or AO3. I will provide links to those at the bottom of the page, so you can check it out. I am really proud of how well AToR is going, especially for fanfiction. And let's face it, everyone, fanfiction has been alive and well since at least the Renaissance. Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy was nothing more than self-insert Biblical fanfic, and this is the hill I will die on LOL!
I'm putting other projects on hold, but my commissions are still open. As members, some of you even get a discount on that of up to 50%!
