Have you ever sought the wings of another? Too often we seek the worst in others. Pointing fingers at demons, rather than planting seeds of faith. Have you ever taken the time to seek the God in them? That thing that allows them to spread their wings and fly above the crowd?
We have a habit of labeling this faith as arrogance or audacity. The faith to jump off a cliff and know that God carries you. The wind, the world, the weather, and the wings all designed to keep you in flight, by the most high.
Successful flight is no easy feat. It requires unwavering belief in the unseen. It also requires leaving many behind. One doesn't ride the tailfeathers of eagles. They are carried. Either by claw or beak.
Many have tried to clip my wings. Cause a fall from grace or expose something non-existing. The effort to find fault in me while simultaneously finding enough value to steal from me remains mind-boggling.
I am no longer concerned as it could cause me to lose sight or cause disruption in my flight. I've forgiven them yet I do not forget. None can take my wings from me but me. And I seek God in all things.
