Personal reflections on my own Journey
A seasonal creek runs through the hollow at the bottom of the hill behind my house. It rains so much here, and this year has seen more rain in a compact period of time than usual. Every couple of years, we get so much rain so quickly that our neighbor’s pond reaches ‘critical mass’ and overflows, swelling our little creek and flooding the lower drive around the huge oak tree.
I thought about that state of overflow this morning as I glanced out the window at the creek, and it struck me that overflow is rapidly presenting in many different ways for each of us right now. We have moved into a new phase of understanding how powerful we are as creators and immense shifts in Divine flow are opening up for us to play with.
Personally, I’m experiencing a level of pure Joy, an overflow of Joy, that for me is unprecedented. Just like my neighbor’s pond, it feels to me as if the collective wellspring of All That Is has tipped past the overflow point, and the resulting access to gorgeous and generous new understandings and connections is… well… Divine.
I’ve been practicing The Mother’s call to be mindful and intentional in each Now moment with everyone we interact with. Like a beacon or transponder, I imagine myself immersed in the intentional sharing and seeding of Joyful Love. Not surprisingly the energetic exchange of joy and love that comes back to me has been phenomenal. I’m finding even the simplest errand is an opportunity to play with this joyful work.
I thought I’d share my ‘love’ stories now and then - here is a super sweet one from yesterday:
Yesterday, I ran into my favorite Co-op to grab some lunch. (Of note: The Co-op staff is struggling with an administrative group that is really pushing the fear agenda, and I’ve heard from several long-time staff members that it is becoming very difficult to be at work)
Before I headed in, I sat in my car and set my intention. “I’ll just absolutely drench them in Love,” I declared out loud. I paused in my car to let that intention take flight. I felt a shiver of energy run up my spine and focused on breathing into my high heart ‘love generator’, mindful of my intention, and then slipped out of my car. On the way into the store, I asked the Divine Mother to step in to guide and amplify my love light too.
Well, I’m still smiling!
Literally within the first minute of stepping into the store, I had one worker after another ‘bump’ into me. I was a super magnet! I listened to several stories and caught up with two of my favorite staff members. I had three new staff members engage with me and share how they were doing as if we were old friends. Within each conversation, most lasting less than 5 minutes, I quietly sent them my love blessing and passed along The Divine Mother’s Love, while holding them in Joy. What surprised me was how enthusiastically each one of them expressed to me how happy they were to see me, mirroring back to me my interest and Love energy. Each new conversation seemed to build energetically on the previous one.
The last gal I chatted with as I checked out shared briefly that her family dynamic is changing and how challenging that has been for her. I told her she had my love and light and we chatted a little longer. She ended our conversation by telling me she was sharing her love and light right back with me! These were such a next level series of connections between me and so many beautiful people, and it was truly Divine.
I stepped out the door into the rain and headed to my car. Halfway across the parking lot, I paused, looked up and could not contain my joyful grin as I said to my Dearest Divine Mother, “THANK YOU! NOW I better understand what is possible and what you are asking us to do!”
It didn’t surprise me in the least as I closed my door and buckled my seatbelt to find that I was absolutely overflowing with Joy.
