Song Seeds - Creation's Song

Songs are like plants. They start with a seed; if you water them, they will grow. All of these songs started as just a small idea. Some ideas start with me singing nonsense into my phone and filling up my voice memos app. Some seeds are planted during co-writes. Others come at the most inconvenient time, like driving, in the shower, or trying to sleep at 3 am. More than anything, song seeds are just seeds. If you don’t water them, they won’t grow into plants. It's the same with songs. A melody is just a melody until it is watered with creativity. Check out the seed for Creation’s Song! This is track 3 off of the new album. I brought the seed to a co-write with Ness Noble. We brought in Chelsea Brandow to finish the song, and we got it done in May 2022. The song, which features my friend Jessica Davis (Jay El Dee), was added to an indie playlist last weekend. What do you think of the song Seed? Does it surprise you how the song turned out?
