Monitor brightness and Monitor blue light radiation strain our eyes, especially if we need to work for long hours by night.
Some monitors allow to change monitor brightness and redness by hand, but doing this manually and everyday is cumbersome.
Why not using some simple software instead?
Usage
put Monitor tools `Brightness.sh` and `Redness.sh` wherever you like, then add a shortcut to these scripts or launch them from Ulauncher or similar launcher software.
Linux Mint
I suggest to put them in: `~/.local/share/nemo/scripts`.
Next, open Mint's settings and then the keyboard pane. In there, add a custom shortcut so you can launch `Brightness.sh` and `Redness.sh` through a shortcut.
Requirements
`Brightness.sh` should work without requirements, in case it doesn't work, check if you have `xrandr` installed.
For Monitor tool `Redness.sh` instead, you've to install a 3rd party binary: `xsct`
Now do your eyes a favor and launch `Brightness.sh` or `Redness.sh`!
