If you’ve been around here for any length of time, you know I’m all about radical vulnerability. Well, I guess now I’m just about being radical, because I have a crazy idea that I need your help to accomplish.
Starting next Tuesday, I’m going to put three billboards in Times Square literally pointing the world to the fact that there is one ultimate answer for their addictions (whatever they are) and other struggles: Jesus.
And I need your help to do that.
Here’s the quick version: I’m raising $1,100 to put my new book’s message of faith-based addiction recovery appear on three separate billboards in Times Square on the day that the book launches (Tuesday, October 7). The price tag gives us a minimum of 176, 15-second messages of hope that will be displayed in the world’s most iconic piece of real estate.
I can’t think of a better way to make a splash and make Jesus known, can you?
This is for real. It’s happening. But I’m not sure exactly where the money is coming from. That’s why I need you. Simply donate through this platform to help cover the cost in $5 increments:
And here’s the really crazy part: The guidelines on these specific billboards say that messages about alcohol and faith are not allowed. But I thought I’d take a chance and make the two companies I'm using say no. And guess what: THE ARTWORK HAS BEEN APPROVED. In other words, these billboards NEVER see faith messages—never support them—and yet mine is going up.
Coincidence? Well, I’ll let you decide…

Here’s the reality: 250k-300k people enter Times Square each day; 400k on the busiest days. Think about that for a second. You could get a message of hope, radical vulnerability, and Jesus in front of over 400k people next week!
I know you have a lot of uses for your money. A lot. I’m only asking you to consider this as one of them. Would you give $5, $10, or even $20 to this bold idea?
