Today Cup of Love celebrates inducting Barbara Archer-Baldwin into the Taza de Amor All Star Honor Roll hall of fame. A well known professional artist and educator for over 45 years, Barbara has selflessly created "Paintings for 31 days"- she is painting original pastels and selling them for the charitable price of $50- with half of proceeds being gifted to Cup of Love!
It is quite uplifting to have Barbara join the so many that throughout our 17 month journey have chosen to help Cup of Love make a difference. Our mission to feed the often forgotten ill and elderly in our tiny mountain village of Veracruz succeeds only through your support- The words of encouragement sent are powerful motivators and I thank everyone that has paused their hectic day to share a kind word or pitched in a cup of coffee.
Today I've prepared a slow cooked beef stew, with fresh garden vegetables including carrots and green beans that my wife and I GREW. I served the stew of course with my Italian seasoned warm rolls.
