Helium Mobile Reneges on Owed Bonuses (Again)!
If you signed up for Helium in the last few months, you have likely been on the same rollercoaster ride as many of us. I signed up for and started referring Helium in April. At that time, you could earn passive referrals five levels deep, and could withdraw your bonuses to various gift cards after 30 days. Helium, appearing not to want to pay owed bonuses, extended this wait period twice within a few days, first to 60 days, and then to 90 days. They also limited the passive earnings to 3 levels deep instead of 5. Fast forward to this week, when many of us reached the 90-day wait period. For those of us who were monitoring the 90-day window closely, we were able to withdraw some/all of our earnings. But many of us weren't so lucky and were prevented from withdrawing once again!
This time, Helium decided not to extend the window further, opting instead to place accounts "under review," leaving many of us waiting for a week or longer. And they've also taken the "we're not going to pay you just because" approach, accusing members of violating terms without any explanation or evidence.
I hope Helium learns from the mistakes so many of these fly-by-night companies have made over the years. A common misconception among them has been "we can do what we want when we want!" These companies seem to forget that pissed off customers are usually the most vocal, especially when it's obvious that the companies are simply breaching contracts and renegeing on owed bonuses.
Tsk Tsk, Helium. There's still time to do better. I hope they seize the opportunity.

The Silent Struggles of a Referral Marketer (Continued)!
If you've read past RWN posts, and/or you refer apps yourself, you know that we deal with hurdles, obstacles, mayhem, and foolishness quite often. Apps not paying as promised and/or suspending accounts without notice or justification. Dealing with Facebook politics and drama. And this barely scratches the surface.
Another struggle we often face is dry spells: periods where new apps and promotions slow down considerably. I've certainly seen a dry spell this month. If you follow Referral World News, you may have noticed that this issue was delayed. It should've been posted on 7/22, just after the previous issue ended. But I have struggled to find anything truly new and noteworthy to share. I saw one or two apps which I immediately knew would be "fly-by-nighters" (and they were). And I saw a few new casino apps being promoted (which I don't promote because I don't personally partake in them and can't overlook the risk vs reward aspect). As much as I love giving readers the "first to know" advantage as new apps hit Referral World, it's admittedly been a struggle.
Thankfully, all is not lost! As you may know, I refer over 100 apps which are always available in my main referrals list here. A new list is created each month and is kept up to date throughout the month. Many of these apps regularly offer new and increased promos.
