Stash is offering a $50 signup bonus to new members and $50 per referral as part of its "$50 for a teacher, $50 for you" promotion, which runs through July 20. The signup bonus is targeted towards educators. However, there's nowhere in their terms to be found stating this requirement, nor does it specify that the referred person must verify or disclose their educator status or occupation.

Last month, Facebook suspended one of my referral accounts. The reason was erroneous and quite silly, as the post they took down was an automatic welcome post that was in place for well over a year, and posted when the referral group acquired so many new members. I submitted my appeal, which was supposed to have been reviewed within a few days, but something went awry, and I'm still waiting for Facebook to review it. Thankfully, I'm still able to use my backup account in the meantime.
