Upside's $20 Referral Promotion!
Over the weekend, I signed up for Upside, filled my tank, and received $6.23 in cashback two days later. Today, I received an email and phone notification that I was awarded unlimited $20 referral bonuses through 7/11!
It doesn't get easier than this if you have a vehicle. Just download Upside and enter code SUWBBE during signup. The app shows you your nearest gas stations and the discounts per gallon. Spend $10+ to trigger the signup bonus, and you'll get up to 40Β’/gal in cashback. You'll also get your own referral link that will get you $5-$20 Referral Bonuses, lifetime earnings from each referral (1Β’/gal), and lifetime earnings from each referral's referral (half-cent/gal)!
B9's Return, Instant Bonuses, and Latest Catch!
B9 returned to Referral World last night. The last time I personally saw it surface was briefly in July 2022. I located the RWN article where I reported on it and the unexpected $5 monthly fee being taken out of people's deposits. See a screenshot of that article below, or read the entire issue for a "blast from the RWN past."
This time, the promotion is "deposit $10, get $20 instantly," with $20 instant referral bonuses. This is great on paper, but there's already one known catch: the referral link/code changes with each redemption! I've asked around but haven't been told whether the monthly fee is still being taken from the $10 deposit. If you have the time and are willing to put in the effort to grab a new referral link/code each time it's used and share it, I wish you the best of luck and earnings. I will skip this one to focus more closely on bonuses that I don't need to focus on so closely!

Step-By-Step Guide to Trigger Grifin's Bonuses!

If you haven't signed up for Grifin's fantastic "$5 signup bonus, $30 referral bonuses" promotion, or if you signed up within the past 30 days, here are the easy step-by-step instructions to quickly trigger the bonuses for you and your referrer:
1) If you haven't done so yet, download Grifin and enter code FNJPA8
2) On the top left of the main Grifin screen (once your account is set up), click the avatar with your initials to get to Settings (mine shows "JM," for instance).
3) Click Investment Settings and turn on "Buy stock where you shop" AND "Add to investable Cash" options. Set the Weekly transfer day to be tomorrow (the day after you sign up). Set the investment amount to $5 and the Investment Limit to $5/Week (see screenshot of the "Investment Settings" screen below. Note that "Wednesday" would be whatever tomorrow is in your case).
That's it! Assuming you have made a purchase this past week - or do so today - this will auto-invest $5 into your Griffin account and trigger the $5 bonus! Ensure you share this info with your referrals since the referral bonuses are only triggered once $5 is auto-invested. Once you've received your signup bonus, turn the auto-invest features off if you don't want to continue auto-investing each week.

Early this morning, MoneyLion introduced a new promotion: Sign up for MoneyLion (if you're not already a member), join their "MoneyLion WOW" club (a monthly premium membership), and you'll get a one-month free trial. And if you refer to others who do the same, you'll get an extra $20 referral bonus for each person who signs up. What's currently unknown is whether you get the referral bonus when your referee signs up for the free trial, or after they've continued a paid membership once the free trial ends. I couldn't find a definitive answer in the promo, the terms, or even after reaching out to MoneyLion support. The promotion is so new that support knew nothing about the promotion!

Stimulus (and the Lying Liars Mispromoting It)!
Stimulus has yet another $10 referral promotion, and once again, referral groups are flooded with Stimulus posts from referrers. This is understandable because Stimulus has been a great moneymaker for many, but what's deplorable is the number of referrers liars lying about the promotion and duping people into signing up.
Some otherwise honest folks liars use the "lies by omission" tactic, disclosing that Stimulus gives $10 referral bonuses but leaving out that there's no signup bonus and that a referral bonus isn't guaranteed when you sign up. Some people who are only out for themselves liars will be slightly more honest by saying that ID is required or that you must verify your email (still insinuating that you'll get your referral link once you do these things). Or, they'll state $10 bonuses, leaving out that they're talking about referral bonuses, not signup bonuses.
Some scammers liars are boldface liars, telling people there is a signup bonus, telling you you're guaranteed a link, not disclosing the bonus amount, and/or that they "just earned $1,250 this morning," etc. 
These are just a few of the several daily ommissions fibs lies I'm seeing promoted in referral groups. And you can see several more if you're on Stimulus by visiting/or searching #wallofshame (special thanks to Stimulus member William Mcanirlin for this tip). But here's what these Stimulus promoters liars are NOT telling you:
1) There is no signup bonus.
2) A referral link is not guaranteed! Only certain people get links, and there is no surefire method to get a link.
3) It's being promoted that uploading a profile pic and cover photo, updating all your profile details, entering contests, interacting with other posts, and being active on the site will get you a referral link. Doing these things may increase your chances, but don't guarantee you get a referral link. I signed up for Stimulus early last month, and despite doing all of these things and being quite active, I have yet to get a referral link. Judging by the hundreds of Stimulus posts from folks asking, "Why don't I have a link," and expressing how they were told they'd get one by the person who referred them, I'm not alone.
I get why these sometimes reputable folks liars are lying. Many of them were originally duped into signing up through similar lies. And the $10 referral bonuses quickly add up, so when it comes down to being honest or cashing in on your signup, these folks are choosing the latter. After all, you're no longer their problem once you sign up through them.
Aside from the referral link debacle, I've been enjoying Stimulus, and I hope Stimulus continues to thrive. It's got a long way to go before it's considered a serious Facebook competitor, missing features like direct messaging, post-editing, seamless navigation between a post and its comments, etc. I also wish they'd take a less random and more fair approach to offering the referral links. Until that happens, here are a few referral link options from honest referrers who consistently promote Stimulus correctly:

Fundrise is Back Offering $25 Bonuses!
I've made a new goal with these weekly RWN articles: Sign up for at least one new app per week. So far, I've been able to do this successfully, having just signed up for Fundrise last night. I recently saw Fundrise go viral in Referral World, and it's back this week!
Fundrise is an investment app similar to Groundfloor as far as I can tell. Fundrise is offering a $25 signup bonus when you sign up, verify your email/phone and deposit $10. They're also offering $25 referral bonuses, up to $900 per month. You receive the bonuses as deposits settle, and you can choose to auto-invest the bonuses or withdraw them to your connected bank. Acorns' "Refer 2, Get $425" Promotion and "99 Problems"!

Acorns just started a new promotion: a $5 signup bonus when you invest $5 by 6/15, $5 referral bonuses, and if you refer two others by 6/15 who complete these same steps, you'll earn another $425 ($450 in total).
Note that Acorns charges a monthly $3 fee after your first 30 days. You can cancel as soon as you withdraw your bonuses. Also note that Acorns takes up to 30 days, perhaps even longer, to award the bonuses. Additionally, Acorns removed the referral tracking feature from the app and website last month, making it even more difficult to know whether you've successfully earned the referral bonuses. Even though I've been actively referring Acorns for the past month, my last referral bonus was awarded in early April.
Apps Left Behind, Pt 10!
This is the tenth installment of RWN climbing up on its soapbox to remind Referral World of older apps with active bonuses that newer, shinier OTN apps have foreshadowed. In a sea of fly-by-nighters, bait-and-switchers, and "New! New! New!" viral apps, these "tried and true" apps have been around the block, have proven themselves time and time again but have flown under the radar in recent months (or even years):
Benjamin - https://joinbenjamin.app.link/ptVYlcPY3Eb - code u2RSU3To97 - Benjamin is a GPT app I signed up for last year, but after reading complaints about people misunderstanding the promotion, or worse, being duped into signing up by lying liars - as some are doing with Stimulus now - I never featured this app, having only included it in my monthly referrals list of over 100+ bonuses. I even featured a "Benjamin Alternatives" post highlighting similar apps with great bonuses. Despite not actively promoting Benjamin, I earned nearly $200 in referral bonuses since signing up in November! Compare this to Split Drop, an app I featured numerous times during the same timeframe, only earning a little over $200. Needless to say, it's worth signing up for and referring Benjamin! DCU (Digital Credit Union) - https://refer.dcu.org/dcu/oard/default.aspx?referrer=v32j-e869 - I fondly remember DCU. I was among the first to share DCU's $100 signup bonus and $50 referral promotion a few years back to Referral World. Despite being an email-only invitation then, I received much interest, sending out over 600 email invitations in a few short months, and I earned $2,100. Sadly, DCU lowered its bonuses in 2022, and except for a brief increase in promotion in January 2023, DCU has held steady with its $20 signup bonus with unlimited $10 referral bonuses. While I wish DCU would raise the bonuses again, they're one of the easier promotions to trigger. Direct deposit is optional but not required. Simply deposit $5 into your savings and $5+ into your checking, and make five debit/credit transactions in the same calendar month. Note that DCU is technically a Massachussetts-only promotion, but you still qualify by making a one-time $10 donation to fund education (tax-deductible)! More info here.
Instacart Shopper [US, Canada]- https://shoppers.instacart.com/?referral=JMEGOWAN7410A - I credit Instacart Shopper for really getting me into Referral World years ago after my dear friend, Kellan, referred me. I not only made great side money doing easy shopping trips, it got me out of the house, plus I scored big on my signup bonus as well as referral bonuses. And while I don't actively deliver for Instacart these days, I still earn referral bonuses simply by including my referral link in my Featured Jobs post. I earned another $300 in April! If you have the time, and either a bicycle or vehicle, I recommend looking into Instacart Shopper. Use my referral link (you may also need to copy and paste my code, JMEGOWAN7410A when signing up).
