Book One of Limericks After Lear, The Fifth Line, took A Book of Nonsense as its starting point and sent all of Edward Lear’s first 112 limericks off in new directions.

Book Two, The Next Hundred Lears, does the same for Lear's lost, forgotten verses of 1872. All 100 of his originals are present, plus a brand new limerick for each.
