"Estar entre la espada y la pared” (Direct translation would be: To be between a sword and a wall) es una frase que se suele escuchar muy habitualmente cuando alguien tiene que decidirse por una cosa o por otra, normalmente opuestas, donde no hay ningún tipo de escapatoria ni manera de evitar el conflicto. O sea hay que elegir sí o sí y seguramente en esa elección algo o alguien va a quedar fuera o va a lastimar a alguien.
