Joana Cerejo is a UX Lead specialising in human-centred AI, with 15 years of product design experience, the last ten focused on AI-driven solutions across fintech, e-learning, accounting, retail, and manufacturing. She holds a PhD from FEUP and is the author of The Anticipatory Design Playbook, which tackles AI that is statistically correct but humanly irrelevant. Nominated for the 2021 VentureBeat Women in AI Award, she has taught since 2013 and published regularly on UX publications like UXmatters, Smashing Magazine, and UXPA.
