North Charleston has been pretty fun so far! We went into downtown Charleston and couldn't resist getting a picture at this steakhouse:
It's always fun seeing Blast tags backstage. This one (from after I left Blast) is here in North Charleston:
I walked past a building that houses the Charleston Jazz Academy, and also an axe-throwing facility. I don't know why, but that juxtaposition just struck me as hilarious. Perhaps it's because we jazz musicians often refer to our instrument as our "axe" - and jazz can be daunting to learn sometimes. So I wonder if students ever get frustrated and want to go next door to throw their axe at the wall...
