Ope, found it.
This is the USS Wisconsin, which served in WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam War, and even Operation Desert Storm. Quite a career! It is now a museum ship here in Norfolk.
I also took another photo out the window, this time over Chicago en route from Appleton to Norfolk. If you look closely, you can see 2 other planes coming in for a landing alongside our plane. O'Hare is a busy airport!
