God created you with purpose — a noble purpose. But culture has lied to you from both sides.
Modern feminism tells men their strength is toxic. The manosphere tells men their strength is for domination, pleasure, and ego.
Both are lies.
Scripture says: “Act like men, be strong.” — 1 Corinthians 16:13 Strength isn’t the problem — it’s the direction you aim it.
You weren’t created to be a brute or a barbarian. You weren’t created to chase pleasure, status, or conquest. “The lust of the flesh… is not from the Father.” — 1 John 2:16
God designed you for something higher.
Your identity isn’t found in culture’s confusion — it’s found in Christ. “We are His workmanship.” — Ephesians 2:10
So yes, be strong. Be capable. Be disciplined.
But understand: your deepest joy comes from knowing Him, not from hedonism.
And for many men, your calling will be lived out most fully as a husband and a father — roles Scripture honours:
“Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church.” — Ephesians 5:25 “Fathers… bring them up in the instruction of the Lord.” — Ephesians 6:4
You were not created for emptiness. You were created for a noble purpose — God’s purpose.
