A sigil is a combination of symbols designed to create intention or attract an outcome.
With the plant inks I’ve been making, I’m creating sigil pieces using the JourneySpiral symbols from my Oracle deck - knitting together two or three symbols on a plant ink spiral background on handmade paper.
These are made for the person individually to help with their intention - the person the sigil is made for will activate the sigil themselves, using the design to tap into their own power.
The sigils are painted onto handmade paper which is designed to hang directly on little eyelets - this is because it is not meant to be a permanent artwork nestled behind glass, but a living object that is working with you over time. The plant inks will change and fade, the paper will change colour - this is all part of the magic!
I will also include a small print of the sigil in its original colours for you to stick into a journal and work with there.
