Over eleven years have passed since I fled the abuse I endured in my own home with the person who said they loved me.
Since then I have made it my mission to raise awareness of coercive control through my lived experiences and with the help of professionals, charities, non-profits, readers, the press, bloggers, supporters and friends.
I’ve opened the next chapter of my life as a BSc Psychology student at the University of Hull at the age of thirty-six. As a result of starting University and my past experience, I am having to self-fund my first year of £9,535. Nothing will stop me. You can fuel the work I am doing by buying me a coffee on my new page created. Coffee is keeping me going!
This has also led me to land on Substack. I plan to share my personal learnings, my everyday life, the theories that grip me, the challenges of juggling everything, my lifestyle and anything else that links to my lived experiences.
