Hydroponics is a technique of growing fruits and vegetables using no soil. This is done with roots of plants directly in the water, which has all the necessary nutrients dissolved in it. Combining it with the lights the plants grow healthy and tasty.
This is a long term project, more updates will be coming.
I started in December 2020 after researching for a bit. A friend of mine gave me most of the things needed to start. After a small upgrade the first seeds were planted and seedlings went into the system.
Initially I planted some basil and salad - classic greens for the hydroponics. These grew very fast. It was very satisfying to see the first plants survive and give the first harvest.

This all was grown using a DWC system.
This month I moved some of plants to NFT system and got some rocket / arugula / rukola seedlings along with some mint. Lets see how it turns out.
