What’s your story?

What’s your story?

Dec 26, 2021

As I’m reading the book of Seth Godin, All Marketers Are Liars — Tell Stories, I’ve come across this question “What’s your story?”

The year 2021 will come to an end and 2022 will start. A new chapter will come - new learnings, new challenges, new failures, new successes.

As we enter this new year, let me also ask this question to you, content creators, what’s your story?

What stories do you want to tell to your audience this coming 2022? What part of your life do you want to share with them? What kind of stories do you want to tell?

Seth Godin also asked if the people who need to hear our stories will believe it? How sure are we that they will believe our content, our story?

Lastly, he also asked if our stories are true? In this day and age, it’s easy to tell if we are lying. If we are being hypocrites to ourselves. Asking if what we say is true is a very important factor especially in content creation.

This is the perfect time to reflect on our content and plan it out. Set objectives and goals as to how we want to grow in this journey. Setting these things up is sometimes overwhelming but it’s nice to have them when things get out of control in the future. This will be our framework, our backbone, whenever things get complicated.

So, what’s your story?

What stories do you want to tell as a content creator this coming 2022?
