About Starch-Free Feasting
Inspiration for individuals living with Ankylosing Spondylitis
Hi! I'm Janneke, creator of Starch-Free Feasting - a labor-of-love website intended to support, encourage, and inspire those seeking to manage their Axial Spondyloarthritis (axSpA)/Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) through lifestyle and diet modifications.
--------------------------
In October 2019, after many years of health struggles, I was diagnosed with AS. This diagnosis prompted me to make drastic changes to my lifestyle – especially my diet. Adjusting my diet to be starch-free has allowed me to go from living with crippling AS-related pain to enjoying a largely pain-free life.
I created the Starch-Free Feasting website with the desire to bring hope and inspiration to others with a similar diagnosis.
If you enjoy the recipes or blog posts @ Starch-Free Feasting, please consider supporting the cause (side note: I don't drink coffee - all funds go to maintaining the www.starchfreefeasting.com website).
I gratefully accept support and take it as a nudge to continue what I’m doing
If my struggles (and successes) with AS result in others being helped along on their journey toward healing then all the pain will have been worth it!
