Make a Way Cool Knitted Monster Purse with this fun and funky free knitting pattern! This unique monster purse knitting pattern creates a fluffy, furry-looking bag with silly monster eyes, arms, legs and a knitted shoulder strap. It’s a fun handmade knitting project for anyone who likes unusual, quirky and conversation-starting accessories.
The purse is knitted with worsted weight yarn and straight knitting needles and uses a simple fluff stitch, also known as the loop stitch, to create the fuzzy monster texture. A helpful video tutorial is included to show you exactly how to work the fluff stitch, along with written instructions and photos.
There’s no zipper required. The knitted flap folds over the top of the purse to help keep your things secure, and the arms, legs and strap naturally roll into shape as you knit them, which means there is surprisingly little sewing involved.
And here’s the really fun part: you don't have to make it as a monster! Leave off the eyes, arms and legs and you can turn the same pattern into a cool, fluffy knitted purse or novelty bag.
This free knitted purse pattern is a fun stash-busting project and a great choice when you want to knit something a little different from the usual hats, scarves and slippers.
