I'm a creator?

I'm a creator?

Jan 26, 2021

It's an interesting experience to start calling oneself a creator of content. It was never part of any "traditional" industry but I've been creating since I was young. I'm definitely known as the woman with the ideas...I never, ever run short of them. Once an idea hits me, I'm going Mach 4 with my ideas and people around me are wondering where I took off to as I'm furiously writing all the steps down.

What I love about creating this content is that people are able to engage with it at their own pace, glean information as they need and ask me questions along the way. I love communicating with others and being open to new ideas. Not all ideas work but all ideas are worth following down a logical path to see where it leads - if it's to a dead end, turn and try another way. Eventually you'll come to something that does work and it's a beautiful thing when it does happen!

Doing this podcast allows me to be in the moment with a guest and asking intuitive questions. There's usually a litany of questions I could ask but I try and go where the conversation leads in the moment. My goal with this podcast is to offer a platform to people who have been a foreigner in some capacity...that they can share their experience in a way that will help someone else.

I love to create opportunities and connect people to ideas and other people. It's such a gift to have a space to be heard, to be understood, and to be valued. I hope that's something all of my guests leave with a sense of acknowledgment and validation. I mean we're all foreign to someone so let's find the similarities in our stories rather than focusing on the differences.

Thank you for supporting my creativity and my podcast!
