Hello my name is Janejira. It's pronounced Jane-gee-raah. I am a Thai American comic artist and self-published author. I picked up drawing in 3rd grade after reading Natsuki Takeya's Fruits Basket. I also drew inspiration from Moe Kare, I"s pure, Chobits, Tokyo Mew Mew, Sailor Moon, Princess Tutu, and Paradise Kiss.
In 2017 I published a romance novel called Picture Us about a boy struggling with self-confidence and a girl haunted by her past.
All my life I've been asked "What are you going to do after school?" "What's your job going to be?" "What's your career plan?" "What's next?" And the answer has always, always, always been to pursue art in some way.
