This project started because of the bad weather. After planning to take photos of Comet Neowise, in 2020, the clouds ruined the plan. Then, I started to take sequences of pictures to the cloudy sky to create Nephos, a sequence of time-lapse videos. All the pictures were taken at home, now I plan to include new locations in the city.
The synchronization between video and audio in the first sequence was a bit chaotic...
...then, for the second video I started to control the synchronization audio-video.
The next step is to tell a history through the sequences.
My gear:
Nikon D3500, but it doesn't have internal intervalometer, then I use an external software.
Camera Connect and Control software, as intervalometer and parameters adjustment.
Samyang 14mm f/2.8
Tamron 18-200 mm f/3.5-6.3
Tripod
Nikon D3000, I use it to evaluate, periodically, the exposure by taking pictures and then adjusting in Camera Connect and Control.
LRTimelapse and Lightroom, for editing the pictures, and smooth the exposure curve.
Finally, DaVinci Resolve for editing.
