I’ve always believed that stories about our origins deserve to be felt, not just read. Today, I am honored to share the raw, hand-drawn, and hand-painted illustrations that will soon become the covers of my new book, "Tales from the Earth and Sun."
The Front: The Breath of Life
The front cover reflects the vitality of our ancestral landscapes. A bright, presiding sun shines over the mountains and a flowing river—the very elements that Pre-Columbian cultures revered as the source of all existence. It is the world in its most harmonious state.
The Back: The Fire of Creation

On the back, the tone shifts to the raw power of the Earth. A fiery mountain erupts, turning the river red with lava. If you look closely at the clouds of smoke, you’ll see shadowed figures that resemble winged creatures—the spirits and deities that appear in our folklore to bridge the gap between the terrestrial and the divine.
The Journey
This book is a collection of creation stories rooted in the deep history of our land. These paintings aren't just covers; they are a tribute to the myths that shaped our understanding of the Earth and the Sun long before the modern world arrived.
A Note on the Images
I’ve added a light watermark to these drawings as we finalize the layout. Your support here on Buy Me a Coffee helps me bring these hand-crafted projects to life, ensuring that these ancient tales continue to be told with the care and sincerity they deserve.
