About In The Rough
Real conversations, lived stories, and the moments we had.
IN THE ROUGH
Come a little deeper.
The Podcast In The Rough is about real people, real conversations, and the parts of life that don't always make it into the polished version of the story. But the conversation doesn't always end when the microphones turn off. In The Rough is the space between the episodes — a place for the thoughts that don't need a full podcast, the story behind a conversation, something that happened while we were recording, an unfinished idea, a moment that stayed with me, or something I simply want to bring you into.
The podcast is the conversation we captured. This is the process around it. I'm interested in making something that feels alive rather than something that simply gets published on a schedule. Sometimes that means a new conversation. Sometimes it's a thought I can't shake, something someone said that changed the way I was looking at a problem, a creative idea, or just a moment that feels worth keeping. I don't always know what I'm going to make until I find it. That's part of the fun.
SUPPORT THE SHOW
If you enjoy the conversations and want to help keep them happening, you can support The Podcast In The Rough here. Every contribution helps with the microphones, recording, editing, production, travel, time, and everything else that goes into making the show. But support isn't only money. Listening matters. Following matters. Sharing a conversation with someone matters. Sending me a question matters. Being part of the conversation matters.
You don't have to contribute anything to belong here. This isn't a membership you have to keep up with or another feed you need to check every day. It's simply another way to get a little closer to what I'm making. When there's something worth sharing, I'll put it here — a thought, a story, a person, a conversation, a moment, maybe something finished and maybe something still becoming.
If you like where this is going, follow along. If you find a conversation that means something to you, share it with someone who might need to hear it. And if you want to help keep the light on and give me the room to keep making more of this, you can support the show here.
You don't have to do any of that. I'm just glad you're here.
And if you do decide to throw a little fuel on the fire, thank you for helping keep the microphone on.
