How to work with Krapka UI System?

Sep 15, 2023

In the Interactive Design team, we often deal with routine tasks that appear when developing any interface. For example, creating a UI kit for a project or removing repetitive feedback blocks is not a very unique process. Often, the team has to do the same work every time, replacing new styles. So we thought, why don't we take our work pieces and create a basic starter kit that will be quick to customize and save us time and nerves. That's how Krapka was born.

We wanted to create a universal, fast-deployable tool for both simple landing pages and complex SAAS. It seems we have succeeded😅!

Inside the Figma document of Krapka, you can see the instructions for use on "To get started" page. However, if you are familiar with Figma, this will not be a challenge for you😊.

Here's a simple guide:

  1. Add files to Figma 📦
    • Download the latest Krapka UI System release →
    • Unzip the archive and find Figma files with .fig extension →
    • Open Figma in the app or a browser →
    • Go to your home page or a project →
    • Drag downloaded files ↩

  1. Change and publish libraries 🚀
Now you can modify Krapka to use it in your product😊. Just customize the styles, connect new fonts, change variables! To make components and styles available for usage in your projects, open each library and click on the file name's dropdown. Then, select "Publish library".

  2. Use libraries 🛠
To use Krapka UI System in a Figma file, open the file where you want to use it. Then, go to the Assets tab, click on the Library icon, and enable Krapka UI System library.

We hope you will enjoy Krapka UI System and create your interfaces faster and better🔥!
