After a hard day of work in the city of Luskan, the wizard Ashton hears a bell cutting through the din of the tavern. Rushing to a window, he sees nothing but the drizzle of the evening. The cleric of Torm also begins to hear this bell between bites.
Together they lead the group out of the Tavern, making their way towards the bell. Along the way they notice that the guards post is apparently abandoned. The sound of the bell gets louder as they approach the south-western dock.
Approaching the pier they see townsfolk and guards gathered, staring at a ship docked there. As the bell tolls again some members of the party are uncontrollably drawn towards the ship.
A short time later there is a rocket and a blast from the top of the ship. With fireworks going off the in background and music being played, a tall, well dressed man in a wide brimmed hat emerges from the ship.
Miss Loftwoven rushes forward, requesting to be part of the show. With a laugh the man introduces himself as Ishamur and takes her hand leading her to the deck of the ship where she takes center stage telling jokes with music and fireworks in the background.
Returning to the crowd Ishamur begins handing out gold to the folks there, promising to improve the lives of everyone there to their cheers. Loftwoven takes offense at not being given any gold while she's performing on the deck. Taking aim with her crossbow she puts a bolt directly between his feet on the ground and making her desires known.
The music stops, with the performers on the ship aiming crossbows at Loftwoven as she heads down towards Ishamur. He places a gold bar on the ground and backs off a little as the rest of the crowd scatters.
