Tell us a bit about your influences.
I'm a huge fan of 60's pop rock like The Beatles, The Kinks and The Beach Boys. I also love 2000's indie stuff like The Vaccines and The Kooks etc.

How did you start?
I got started after playing guitar tutorials on YouTube when I was a wee lad but the red shakes project started in lockdown, I just wrote as much as I could during that period so that when we were out i would have lots of material.
What obstacles does an emerging artist have to face in our time?
I think so many things, you have to be lots of things, graphic designer, socials manager, accountant and of course a musician. Financial constraints are also really holding smaller artists back such as myself.
What worked for you marketing-wise? What advice or tips would you give to new artists?
Make content that displays your personality and it will help you connect with your audience.
What are your goals? Where do you see yourself in five years?
To be a mainstay on the festival circuit and be touring consistently with sold out shows.
Tell us about your latest or upcoming release.
My latest release is Angel! The song is one written from a personal perspective, about how one person can come in your life (romantically) and seems like an angelic figure despite doing mundane things together (staying in bed with them/ordering takeaways, etc)
