Hadn’t intended to be photographing rugby for a second day running, particularly during this winter cold patch. In the end I did though, and enjoyed the experience thoroughly.
Same venue as the day before, this time it was West Park Seconds taking on one of the league’s top 4, Trafford MV, and the first half was bathed in sunshine, very much unlike it had been 24 murky hours previously.
Wasn’t too long before the visitors’ strength and speed began to show and it was they who crossed the tryline first. Still, West Park had offensive forays of their own and these also yielded first half points with two tries.
Nevertheless, Trafford held a lead at the break and this was extended considerably in the second forty. West Park did not give up though and were rewarded with a further try not too long before the end. Well done to all for providing an entertaining game. Hope the pictures do it justice!
