Scarlette Hellene is a 25-year-old disabled transgender woman who was recently homeless. She was financially dependent on her ex who abused her and sexually assulted her. This person was supposed to take care of Scarlette, but instead she ended up getting taken advantage of and hurt. Scarlette’s family would not help her with this situation because they do not believe her and they are transphobic.
