Hurricane Bug Out was created to help people prepare for hurricanes without fear, confusion, or last-minute panic. We provide practical guidance for preparing early, making smarter evacuation decisions, and recovering safely after a storm.
Here you will find:
• New preparedness resources and printable checklists
• Evacuation planning guidance
• Gear testing and field reports
• Hurricane videos and project updates
• Behind-the-scenes progress
• Previews of what we are building next
Our core hurricane preparedness information will remain freely available. Support received through this page helps cover the real costs of research, travel, equipment, website operations, filming, and producing new resources.
You do not have to contribute to support the mission. Following Hurricane Bug Out, sharing our resources, and helping reliable preparedness information reach another household also make a meaningful difference.
Thank you for joining us as we build Hurricane Bug Out.
Prepare early. Evacuate smart. Recover safely.
