Why Your Support and A Cup of Coffee Matters More Than You Might Think
There is a popular servant leadership exercise that goes something like this...
Take a piece of paper and in two minutes write down how many people were responsible for helping deliver that simple morning cup of coffee to you.
In that small item that we often take for granted there is soon the realization that it takes 100's of people to result in a simple cup of coffee. From the farmer and all who work on the farm to cultivate the crops, to those who harvest, package, sell, transport, store, deliver, there are tons of people involved in getting the coffee to the shop. Multiply all of that by 3 if you have milk and sugar in your coffee.
Then consider all of the people who involved in the running of the store itself from owners to baristas, people involved in the commercial sales and setup of that property and on and on.
The end realization is there are very few things on this planet we can truly do without the help of anyone else. Loving yourself stands out as probably the most important one that only we can do individually, but the reality is we are severely dependent upon our communities to survive.
The Human Constant is no different. The community can only survive and thrive through those that are a part of it.
If there is an article, this community has helped you in any way, please consider buying us a single cup of coffee.
This will allow us to continue to create and promote meaningful content based on how it is most useful to you instead of being a slave to the algorithms.
If you are a subscriber and participant in our community, please consider buying us a coffee once a month or a larger one time donation.
We will work to ensure that your investment is paid back tenfold through the people that you meet in this network and the ideas that we share.
However you found us, we are exceptionally happy that you are here! Together there is no limit to what we can achieve!
Thank you!
Ryan
