When I got my Meticulous espresso machine, after a loooong wait, I was overwhelmed with the options. Dialing in was no longer just adjusting grind size, the potential was (and is) basically limitless, my knowledge and time not so.

That rabbit hole led me to start building custom tools for smart coffee gear. What began with the Meticulous has now expanded to the xBloom as well!

Today, I'm building and maintaining two community projects:

⚙️ MeticAI (for the Meticulous Espresso Machine)

A growing set of AI tools to help you get the most out of your machine:

🧠 Automatically create espresso profiles tailored to your preferences and coffee at hand

📊 Understand your espresso profiles and shot data like never before

🔬 Get AI coaching to improve your technique

☕️ Run pour-overs using the integrated scale

🌼 XBRW++ (for the xBloom Coffee Machine)

Built to push your xBloom workflow even further:

🎛️ Dial in, customize, and manage your pour-over recipes with ease

📈 Take fuller control over your brewing parameters and workflow

💳 Re-use the cards that came with your coffee endlessly

🚀 Lots of extra quality-of-life features for your daily brews

And much more in the pipeline for both!

If you use MeticAI or XBRW++, find them useful, and want to support the ongoing development (and fuel late-night coding sessions), why not send me a coffee?
