How to respond to rivet counters

My first aircraft build after returning to the hobby 45 years later was the Airfix Skyhawk. I decided to make mine an Aussie version, even though we only flew A8 and the kit was A4… no one rivet counted that, but use aftermarket decals with roos only facing one way and there was an uproar of hatred and vitriol. This was my response.
