“I don’t have time.”
I have heard this phrase so much and I admit, I used to say it all too often. When I see people going on vacation, I would say the same thing. When I saw how people achieved things, I would say the same thing. But you know what? Those people didn’t have time either. They made time.
It was when I changed this thought process that I began to see the change in my life. I am not going to wait until I have reached the weight I need to be before I go on vacation. I am not going to wait until I am happy to do the things I need to do for myself. I am going to start TODAY.
This change in me was brought on by the death of my mother. It was during her last moments in life, on her deathbed, that I watched her suffering from the inability to consume food, and she slowly began to lose the spark in her. Whatever it is I want to do, whatever it is I need to do…NOW IS THE TIME. If I wait until I’m ready, I may never be ready. I prepare myself as I go and it becomes something I master along the way. There is no preparations sometimes for life. You just embrace it as it comes and learn to adjust your life.
The question for you today is: “What is holding you back?” Is it fear of failure? Is it fear of no support? Is it fear of actually being able to do it? Whatever it is, embrace it and let it be the greatest journey you ever will take.
