Change is not easy to do and with it comes sacrifice to a life you used to call your own. One of the biggest things about change is seeing the reward it comes with. Often times we will find that life becomes sweeter and that the peace we seek is there. Although you will find that you will lose certain people in your life as you welcome change. These losses are nothing to dread over as you find that they never added anything positive to your life. In fact, letting go will probably invite better things.
I remember when I finally let go of certain people in my life, I was met with the question from them, “Really? You think you can survive without me?” Actually, yes, I can. And I did and it was a shock to these people that I would welcome change so easily. The thing is that when we have yearned for change for so long, we will find that anything to do with hope, we will take it as a last way to find peace. By the time we accept this, no matter where we will go or what happens, we will trust it and go with what will come.
I remember a life not too long ago where I was very unhappy with myself and feeling as if everything I did wasn’t pushing me to where I needed to be. When I discovered the power of change and letting go, I finally taught myself to never hold back. I wasn’t afraid anymore and I allowed what needed to take place to happen. The beauty of life unfolding itself came as a complete surprise to me and with it, rewards like never before. Peace and happiness were two that arrived making me feel completely satisfied. I had been waiting for that inner peace for a long time.
Don’t be afraid of change, sometimes, it will push you to do things that will challenge you, but for a good reason. You can’t lose weight without working out. You can’t catch a fish if you don’t go fishing. And if you don’t farm, you won’t get crops. It is the same thing. If you expect change, welcome the challenge and allow it to blossom. In the end, you will be the brightest bloom ever.
