Support Hothouse

If you went to get a drink and the bartender set you up with a hot stranger, you’d probably give him a tip even if the hot stranger turned out to be a domineering vampire AI or whatever (maybe you’d be even more inclined to tip, you beautiful freak).

This is a solo passion project from a first time dev and I could use your support.

Supporting gets you nothing. This project is open-source and will never be behind a paywall.

But to me it means a lot–it means I created something that was worth somebody else’s time and money. It means recouping the significant time and costs of making this app. And–just maybe–it sends a signal that it might be worth spending more time working on Hothouse, if that’s something people are interested in.

I started this project because I really didn’t like the way a lot of the online AI dating-app-like experiences are aggressively and predatorily monetized. And a lot of them don’t even feel like dating apps! I hope you'll find that Hothouse is a good answer to those predatory tactics--or at least the start of a project that offers users more creativity and control with significantly fewer costs.
