We came to this platform just to have a nice, easy way for folks to help support our work amplifying the brilliance of Hip-Hop inspired innovation, including our free newsletter, 'The Hip-Hop Advocate,' and the Hip-Hop Can Save America!" podcast as we embark on a new season sharing incredible stories about Hip-Hop inspired innovation, in areas including education, science and technology, heath and wellness, social justice, business and entrepreneurship, the fine arts, and so much more.
I'm personally thankful for any support given, as it is my goal to remain fully independent, unattached to any larger entity until it is in the best interest of the mission which is to amplify Hip-Hop's unique ability to uplift humanity and improve society. While we remain small, costs include hosting, editing and the admin time it takes to schedule guests. Every donation helps cover some of those costs, so that we can bring these shows to life more frequently.
Our monthly memberships help boost the show's audience. We will be actively promoting the show through several methods including podcast newsletter sponsorship, social media posts and more. While this doesn't mean much to you, the listener, it does let you know that your contributions directly help amplify Hip-Hop's achievements to the world.
As Hip-Hop minded folks, we don't always feel like we NEED the recognition or to be legitimized from those outside the culture, but I feel like there can never be too much celebrating the wonderful ways that Hip-Hop music, culture and spirit make a positive impact on society.
So, thank you as we gear up to kick off a new season with new guests (and some visits from old friends), a slightly new format, more frequent releases, and some bonuses planned for the near future.
